Web Design - Endangered Animal Coalition
Skills Used: Adobe XD. Dreamweaver. Photoshop. Goals: For this project we were creating a "Cause Site." Our cause could be recycling, endangered animals, cancer awareness, or whatever we wanted to create for. I chose to develop my own cause, EAC. The Endangered Animal Coalition. My family spent 6 years in Africa and animal welfare has a special place in my heart. I chose a logo design that was bright red and the initials for the cause name. I wanted the logo to be the first thing that you see when you come to the site. I wanted it to be bold and strong and different than any other colors on the page. I wanted large imagery and type along with natural colors for backgrounds and accessory menus. We designed for cross platform and responsive websites so our websites could be viewed across desktop, tablet and various smart phone sizes. My designs were mocked up in Adobe XD and then executed in Dreamweaver using bootstrap and css.
